Setup your first program tier

Tiers enable you to customize the structure of your programs. Create appropriate incentives, rewards and program conditions for each type of your partners.

Check basic tier settings

 

Navigate to settings > program tiers and click on default. There you can:

  1. Name your tier - give your partner tier a name e.g. affiliate partners, solution partner etc. 
  2. Lead registration duration - choose for how many days a lead can be registered to a partner before it converts into customer. A period which is too short may seem unfair to partners. A period which is too long may block leads for new partners. We recommend to choose a period between 6 to 12 months (180 to 365 days)
  3. Lead registration limit - set how many leads a partner can submit and get accepted before they convert into customers. A number which is too low can limit partners in marketing activities, while a number which is too high can block leads for other partners. We recommend to choose a number between 50 to 500.


Choose and activate lead attribution methods

 

For each partner tier you can choose which lead attribution methods can your partners use. You need to choose at least one method for each tier. But you can offer multiple methods as well. 

 

There are three methods available: 

 

Lead submission form - choose this method if you want partner to submit information about potential clients. This method is standard for partner types who have direct contact to your potential clients. (e.g. solution partners, resellers, your sales team) 

Tracking Link - choose this method if you want partners to share your incentives online via social media, blogs and websites. This method is used for partners who are strong in online activities and many followers and don't have direct contact to your clients. (e.g. influencers, media, press and other partners with strong online channels) 

Tracking Code - choose this method if you want your partners share partner codes with your potential clients. This method is often used when you want to offer both sided rewards (reward for both, for your partner and also your referred client) or for partners who are strong in offline activities like events, trade shows, magazines and similar. 

Methods which are not activated will not be available to your partners in their partner dashboard. 


Create rewards for your partners

 

Create reward structure for this particular tier. You can use different rewards for each partner tier. To create a reward click on the add reward button.  


You can create multiple rewards to make your rewards fair but also economically feasible for your business. For example you might want to give higher rewards for software products or premium content compared to services or products with low margin. 

Rewards can be calculated as % from deal amount or as a fixed cash amount e.g. 20$. You can also mix % reward with fixed cash reward. (e.g. 20% + 100$). You can choose to make a reward a one-time reward or a recurring-lifetime reward.
